In the year 2000 nakednovelist.com hit the internet to world acclaim. Writer Carol Muskoron was the world's first blogger, writing an online daily diary about the process of writing a novel - from the first chapter to the last.
Way ahead of her time (and way ahead of YouTube), she also ran daily video footage of herself writing naked at her desk. She never stood up and it was all done in the best possible taste. She was featured in newspapers, on television and radio all over the world. But the world had to wait longer than anticipated for the completion of her novel...
The very same week that she hit the Sunday Times in a full page interview with an excerpt of her novel, her two-year-old son was diagnosed with severe autism. Carol stopped writing and running nakednovelist.com and concentrated on her son in an attempt to help him to learn to speak. Seven years later, her son now talks, goes to mainstream school and has more social skills than many of his peers. Carol has gone back to work and is now Web Editor of the fabulous Good Housekeeping magazine.
Where is she now?She has decided to reinstate this web page to thank her fans the world over for their support during her novel writing and to thank the kind and fabulous professionals who helped to bring Nathan out of his bubble.
Does she still write? Oh yes. You can listen to her Christmas podcast here.
